BBB Integrity Awards
Given To Three Companies
The Better Business Bureau of Western Michigan announces that the 2010 Integrity Award winning companies are:
1. Above Roofing - Hudsonville, MI
Robert Freeman, President
2. Leaves Personal Care Services, LLC - Cascade, MI
Vicki Smit, Owner
3. Swonk's Flower Shop, Inc. - Battle Creek, MI
Jeannette Schmid, President
Criteria for the BBB award is based on overall ethical standards as evidenced by customers, vendors, and suppliers. In addition, community involvement, employee training, truthful advertising and overall honesty and integrity for doing the right thing in the business community.
The BBB accepts nominations all year long from consumers in the regional, 38 county service area.
Nominees then submit a brief overview of their company and winners are presented with their award at a local luncheon.
Ken Vander Meeden, President of the BBB of Western Michigan stated,
“This year’s winners are involved in the floral industry, roofing industry, and the in-home-care services industry, all of which are basic services regardless of the economy. Personal services are always needed and finding caring, trustworthy businesses is becoming more important each year. Our congratulations specifically to these three BBB Integrity Award winning companies and we feel blessed to have so many ethical companies within our 38 county region.
